That’s what Samantha Bee concludes in the Daily Show video here. Left-wing stupidity isn’t one of my usual topics, but it appears to be the relevant phenomenon in this case. The title of the video is “An Outbreak of Liberal Idiocy”.

You really have to admire the Daily Show’s resolve to call out hubris wherever it raises its ugly head.
Right, they’re performing a public service here. Although this is probably a case in which it’s easier for them to criticize the stupidity involved, since it seems to be the result of a relatively small percentage of their audience taking the “natural is better” idea much, much too seriously, to the point of being self-destructive and dangerous to the rest of us.
